All pieces shown below are examples of my work. Please enquire if you are interested in commissioning a similar piece or something different.
Change of Wind
A framed panel, 40 cm2, made for public exhibition showing at The Stained Glass Museum, Ely Cathedral 9th January - 3rd March 2009 (previously at the Cochrane Theatre Gallery July to end November 2008). Inspired by the events of the Armada and by the inherent quality of antique glass. Elizabeth I was an accomplished horsewoman and here a horse signalling the wind, in sandblasted steely armour-blue glass, portends the defeat of the Armada; stylised and positioned for strong movement. Regal, fiery night-skies made with seedy glass captures the southern sun in a shimmering jewel-like array.

Pisces
The qualities of English Antique Glass inspired this colourful piece.
Autumn Beech
A freehanging panel using antique 'flashed' glass which was sandblasted to create variation in shade, and leaf shapes in relief, which are further detailed using traditional kiln fired painting. This piece measures 480mm x 330mm.
Minature Medieval Tracery
Free hanging in the shape of a tracery light and measuring 235mm (w) x 250mm. For this intricate piece painted on antique glass, I have copied medieval images from surviving tracery lights in St Mary's Hitchin and The Virgin Enthroned from an unidentified church. (The tracery light on which this image is based is in the Victoria and Albert Museum and dates from c1400 - 20.)
The Hert
This panel uses antique glass and measures 440mm (w) x 590mm. Inspired by local scenery and sightings of deer this panel refers to the old English hymn:
"As pants the hart for cooling streams,
when heated in the chase,
so longs my soul, O God, for thee,
and thy refreshing grace."Hymns Ancient & Modern New Standard 226 (Tate and Brady, 1696)
Autumn Oak
Styled in the shape of a quatrefoil tracery light, this piece incorporates a wonderful pink and amber antique glass, evocative of an autumn sunset. The border of oak leaves and acorns is painted and stained. It measures 395mm x 395mm.
Small medieval hanging panels
Examples of simpler panels are shown below, these incorporate images based on or copied from medieval glass, for example a bird stalking a spider from a quarry in York Minster. These panels are painted and stained. The rectangle panels measure 160mm (w) x 188mm, the oval measures 113mm (w) x 176mm.
Seaside
This contemporary styled suncatcher includes a range of antique glass and glass nuggets which capture the light beautifully. It measures 195mm (diameter). Sold.
